Question?

If you could name ONE quality or attribute that is most important for your children to posess, what would it be? I want to hear what other parents wish for their children...I will start. I think (thus far in my life as a parent anyway) that self esteem would be my answer. What do you think?

I totally agree. 100% that self-esteem is one of the most important things you can give your child. Any tips on how to guarantee that?

Compassion is the first that comes to mind...

I would have to say...I want my kids to be charitable, humble, and kind. You know the Christlike qualities. There is nothing better to me than a kid that is polite and nice to everyone..popular or not. I want my kids to be kind to everyone. I am not quite as worried about the self-esteem issues, but that is important, too.

Hey! Thanks for the post, but unfortunately we do not have anything for boys. Did you know that we met many, many years ago? I think that we got pizza at Peter Piper with Roman of course. Funny, huh? Tell Roman "hi" I just blogged about a ski trip Jaime and I took a few weekends ago and came across a bunch of pictures of Roman and his boys. How fun it would be to get together again with all of our kids and spouses.

Integrity. I think this is so all encompassing!

Oh the list could go on and on for me, but I think you are close- self esteem would probably be one of my top five.
