I admit it!

So... maybe we went to the Poison concert at the fair last weekend. And to be honest, it ended being a blast! We went with my brother Lance and his wife Misty and our friends Matt and Kelly. I never considered myself a hard core 80's rocker fan. In fact, I barely remember my brothers listening to Poison and similar groups but I was too young to ever embrace it. I grew up mostly in the 90's and prefer Nirvana or Green Day if I want to "rock." HOWEVER, I found myself quite entertained and enjoying myself the entire night. Once in a while I would laugh to myself and think "so weird that I'm sitting at this concert right now." But I even recognized a few songs like Every rose has it's thorn and Something to believe in. I actually got to know Brett Michaels (lead singer) from his vh1 reality show Rock of Love. It was a pretty good show. Anyway glad to see the 46 year old is still rockin' after 22 years and still has some great moves!

SHHH don't tell: I was there too! :) My hubby and I went with a couple of friends who are die hard Brett fans after the reality show! I only recognized the songs you did as well (and I really like those ones) but it was fun non the less. The best is watching everyone that goes to those concerts! The worst is that I had to stuff my ears full of kleenex!
