The 10k was awesome! I had a blast! This is Tricia and I before it started that morning. It was a beautiful day and the perfect temperature for running. It was fun to look around and know that everyone around you had the same goal; and everyone was very nice. It turned out they miscalculated and we actually ran over 7 miles (don't ask me how they made such a dumb mistake). We thought it felt quite a bit longer than the planned 6.2 miles. It's all sort of a mind game and whatever you plan to do, you can do, but anything after that feels really hard for some reason. Anyway, our time was still good and we were just glad to have done it.Thanks for all the nice comments and support you all have given me along the way, the night before I reread them all and it gave me more confidence. And no I'm not retiring my shoes yet...Love you all!

You and Tricia look so cute! Just like High school!!! Seeing the two of you reminds me of the good ol Lakette days!!! Way to go on the running. I am trying to convince myself to start running and maybe do the peach days race here in Brigham but I don't know if I can commit myselt to do it yet...

Thanks for the comment...how are you? We're doing great...loving the new house and area yet miss the old too. I love that you're running...so fun! It's the new rage. There's just something theraputic about running for me...keeps me sane..always has. I'm so glad you've caught the bug. I just started pointe...eeek but love it as well. I'm just an old mom enjoying doing what I love. I'm glad there's a fellow mate like you out there. Keep in touch.
