Coversation before church:
Julie: Happy, enthusiastic, smiling,"Ethan, wake up it's time to get ready for church!"
Ethan: Grumbles, whines, drags, whines some more, "But mom, I can't go to church today-I have the hiccups!
Why did I never think of this great excuse? I am going to try it out on my boss. Being the mean mom that I am I still made him go to church with this horrible ailment.

Sometimes we just need those hiccup days you know!! Those little kids are so smart and clever you almost need to give the the A for effort!
He is so creative, it doesn't even surprise me that he tried to use that on you. Maybe I should try that once in a while...but oh yeah, the mom never gets the day off right, for hiccups or anything else.
That is so cute of Ethan to even think of that. I can't wait to see you tomorrow!!!!
